what is the easiest way to get to vanburgh hotel from the guangzhou airport?

I am familiar with the metro system in Shanghai, but this is a totally new city. And I assume I can't use my public transportation card which was purchased in SH? Thanks!

Take metro line 3 from the airport to West Tiyu Road Station. It takes about 40 minutes, and the fare is CNY 7 per person. Then, take a taxi to the hotel for about CNY 15. You cannot use Shanghai Transportation Card in this city. Just buy a local transportation card named 'Yang Cheng Tong' at the ticketing window of the metro station at the airport. You need to pay CNY 20 as the refundable deposit, and add some value to it.
