About:China Business Visa

changing student residence permit to M visa

hello,i am a cameroonian and i am currently studying in china. i want to change my student X type into M business permit. what should i do?

Ngam, the first thing you need to do is provide the relevant documents for M type containing your passport and its photocopy, the application form, a recently-taken half-length color photo, valid registration form of temporary residence and an invitation letter from a trade partner in PRC as well as other documents required by the consular officers. The second thing is to submit the application to the local public security bureau to convert X type to M type.

thank you for your quick reply, i and my parters in china was at the immigration with all the required documents but they said i can only change to M type if i am in cameroon. now i wish to find out how to go about this? if i go home, i will like to know the procedure and required documents for M type
