Portuguese living in Poland asked to pay VISA as a Polish citizen

Hi,

I am Portuguese and I am living and working in Poland with a temporary permit (I don't have Polish citizenship)

Today my friend (Polish) submitted his and my forms in Warsaw for applying for an entry permit. The woman gave him a paper to make a bank transfer to pay the fees, my friend was asked to pay 260zl and I was asked to pay exactly the same.

Browsing through the internet I can find several websites that tell me that non-Polish and non-American citizens should pay 150zl:

I also asked about a month ago a question here which seems that it was removed with other Q&As but still I got as answer that it would be 160zl

I am very surprised I got a request to pay as much as a Polish citizen!

An this is not all, apparently on the official website of the Chinese embassy in Poland, there is only a piece of text in Polish saying how much a POLISH CITIZEN should pay, and its 260zl, again I say, am not a Polish Citizen.

If you want an additional easter egg, navigate on the page above to the Chinese version of the price page, wow, it became 220zl!

Does anyone can comment on this or has anything that may help me? I feel that the embassy is bullshitting me!
Thanks
Vasco B.

Vasco, based on what I know, the fees shown on the official website of the embassy of PRC are just for a reference. The actual payment is subject to the actual amount given by the embassy when you apply for it. So the embassy is not deceiving you.
