About:China Visa on Arrival

Single entry visa to Guangzhou then Macao then Beijing

We are a couple and got a single entry to China. We now have come to Guangzhou, and then we'll go to Macao and then Beijing. I just noticed that going to Macao voids our Singe Entry to the mainland of PRC. My question is can we request for the VOA when we enter to Beijing? NB we've the flight ticket back on 31st of May and early morning of 1st of Jun.

Farzad, if you hold Iran passport, you need to apply for a separate entry permit to enter Macau. And you can possibly get VOA there.
However, you cannot get VOA in Beijing because Beijing VOA is only issued to those who need to enter PRC for emergency situations. But if your total stay in Beijing is less than 24 hours, you can use the 24 hour direct transit. In this case, you don’t need to apply for a new entry permit to go there. Otherwise, you should apply for a tourist L type or transit G type in advance.
