About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72 Hours Visa, register at the police station

For the 72 Hours free transit, will I need to "register at local police station within 24 hours of arrival if one wants to stay over 24 hours"? I can't find that statement anywhere on the consulate page, maybe I'm just missing it.

Kiki, based on what I know, it’s true. You do need to register at the local police station within 24 hours if you want to stay for more than 24 hours.
