About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Vienna-Shanghai-Jeju-Shanghai-Vienna

Hi

am I eligible for the free transit visa at Shanghai on my onbound and outband trip from Shanghai?
I am flying from Vienna to Shanghai, staying 5 days there and flying to Jeju for 2 days. On my way back via Shanghai I intend to stay for additional 3 days in Shanghai. Does in add up for the 144h free transfer? in total, I would stay 8 days in the region.

Darius, you can enjoy the 144h free transit twice. On both legs of your trip, you qualify for this free transit program. Have a good trip!
