family visiting panda base

Question

My family is planning to go see pandas this July.  I have read the three bases on your website.  And I have 3 children aged 15, 12 and 7 respectively.  They are all excited to be able to hold a panda.  By any chance the Chengdu base will reopen for photo with panda?  If not, which base will be the best one to visit for the day?  Thanks.

hi, there is no news about the reopen time. You should contact the Panda Base before your tour. I got their number 86-28-83355900. Or you choose Dujiangyan Panda Base directly, where you can hold the pandas.

Do you know the minimum age to hold a panda for picture taking at Dujiangyan Panda Valley?  Do you expect the place to be packed with visitors in the end of July?

No, I never heard about that. There should be no problem for your three children. Dujiangyan panda valley is always less crowded than the Panda base in the city.
