About:Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka

do we need to apply for Hong Kong transit visa

I am going to PRC with 10 school children to attend a summer camp on the invitation received from china society. our transit is in Hong Kong. do we have to apply HK visa also.

Dear, you also need to apply for HK transit entry permit and you should apply for it in advance.
The first step is to prepare the required documents including copy of the passport, the completed application form affixed with a passport-style photo, transportation arrangement, proof of financial support, and proof of the travel to next destination such as the travel itinerary or the invitation letter you mentioned.
The next step is to submit the application to the embassy of PRC to apply for it.
