How to get to Canton Tower via subway from China Hotel in Guangzhou ?

Take metro line 2 from Yuexiu Park Station to Gongyuanqian Station. Next, change to metro line 1 to West Tiyu Road Station. Then, transfer to metro line 3 to Canton Tower. The fare totals CNY 4, and the trip takes about 30 minutes. :)
