About:Jiankou Great Wall

Camping at the Wall

Hi! May you help me to clearfy some points?
First of all it isnt very clear on the map where is xizhazi village. I see 2 places with that name, one is 5th Team ,the second one is 2d Team. Which of them do we arrive by H25 bus? It is important cuz we plan to begin from Beijing Knot and walk till Mutianyu.
Second question is about coming back to downtown. So we walk to Mutianyu and then reach ticket office or what? How can we find the exit from Mutianyu? Is it a long way from Knot to the Mutianyu exit? We plan 2 days trip(one night,2 days)And do we need to pay if we come there from Jiankou?

H25 bus will reach the 5th team of Xizhazi Village.
I searched many travel notes online. Most of them say that hiking from JK to Mutianyu may charge for free and it should take around 1.5h to get to the western end of Mutianyu; the notes also show that 2-day tour can totally cover the 2 sections.
On Mutianyu, you can either take a cable car at the No. 14 tower or take a slideway at No. 6 tower to go downhill to the exit. If you are still very energetic, you can hike down from the Wall at No. 10, No. 8, or No. 6 tower.
Hope this will be helpful and enjoy your trip!
