i apply for s2 chinese visa in chennai

is there any chinese consulate in chennai for applying chinese visa ,now currently i am a student from pune but my passport is chennai issued when i apply through visa agency they told new chinese embassy work on chennai so they cant do anything please conform whether chinese visa services in chennai
