west lake cruise- day timenight time?

Which one is the best ? Day time cruise or evening cruise?Should we buy the boat ticket when we get there?

The night view is marvelous with clorful lights around, but you cannot see the scenery very clearly. In the day time, there is no such light show, but you can fully enjoy the lake itself. You make a comparasion and the decision.
