About:China Visa Application in USA

Expired Chinese passport in USA

My boyfriend and I have plans to travel to Mexico in July. He is not a US citizen but is a permanent resident. His Chinese passport expired 30 years ago. How can he renew it? What documents are necessary?

Firstly, he needs to prepare all the required materials including the application form, 4 recently-taken passport-style photo, his passport and copies of its data pages, his valid entry permit to USA, and a personal statement. Secondly, he should hand in the application to the embassy of PRC to renew his passport.
