About:China Customs Declaration

Can I bring nutritional supplements into China?

One of my colleagues purchases and brings back a GNC supplement every time he comes to the US. He has asked me to bring his next shipment over with me, which consists of 10 bottles (60 pills in each bottle). Are there restrictions on bringing these products in?

It depends on the value of these supplements. If the total value is over CNY2,000, you should declare them at the customs and pay the tax. You’d better keep the purchase invoice for the taxation is based on their price.
