Social Media Network in China

I heard Facebook is banned in China. Can you please advise other social media networks that are available? Is Whatsapp allowed? I will be travelling in next few days to Guangzhou. I need to keep in touch with my family member in Malaysia. I heard i can't bring fruit to CN. Is it true? (Dates also not allowed is it?

Yes, you are right. Facebook is banned but Whatsapp is still avaibale in CN.
Fresh fruit is not allowed to enter CN. It should be confiscated by the customs.
