About:China Customs Declaration

Is it allowed to carry hookah/shisha flavour to China?

The normal and the gel , are they allowed. I don't want to get into any trouble.

You can take hookah and tobacco into CN; colas are not allowed to take. But the hookah should be put into checked luggage and you should make sure that there is no liquid or coal in the pot. If the amount of the tobacco exceeds 500g, you should make a declaration at the customs.
