intrested to visit for 2 months china mongolia china

Question

Started with beijing then Mongolia then inner mongolia ,amdo,kham,yunnan province .I m solo traveller,i wll not stay in hotels..i ll prefer to stay with local families. Or hostels.May be i can stay for 2 month or 3 month also as per my budget.So how can i apply online visa? Any transit permit available if i want visit mongolia. as i travel from India..beijing is best option to visit mongolia.

When you first enter PRC, how long will you stay there? If the time is not more than 24 hours, you only need to apply for a single entry. If the time is longer, I advise to apply for a double-entry L type entry permit.You can't apply online. You can go to the CVASC offfice in person or have an agency to do this for you. As you will enter Tibet region and you don't have hotel reservations, you had better contact a travel agency to seek help and get a Tibet travel permit for you after you enter PRC. Otherwise, it's hard for you to get the tourist L type entry permit and Tibet travel permit. You can email travel@travelchinaguide.com for help.

hi Garythanks for ur replywhat is PRC?i will visit Tibet (amdo & kham part)wer no need for any permission as per my little research.may b i m not aware with latest update or any change ..so let me if you have confirm latest update on same.. :-)
