Flat irons/hair straightener

I am traveling China thru Sinorama travels and staying in hotels. Can I use my flat iron/hair straightener in China? How would I know that hotels in China has 110v and 220v sockets or not? Any one has any idea?

I'm afraid it cannot work normally in CN, for the voltage and socket plug are quite different.
Generally, hotels in CN only have 220V sockets. You may ask the staff of your hotel if they provide 110V sockets. You'd better buy a transformer and an adaptor.

Check your flat iron. Many of these devices now come with the ability to use either 110V or 220V.
