About:10 Insider Tips for Great Wall Travel - Dos and Don¡¯ts

Getting to mutianyu from south sanlitun road, Beijing.

Hi, we are planning on visiting the mutianyu section end of may and would like advice on getting there? How long would it take to get there and is there a time when it closes?

You can take a taxi to Dongzhimen Transport Hub at a cost of approximately CNY15 and take bus no. 916 there to Huairou North Street. The bus trip should take nearly 3h. When alighted, hire a taxi to get to the Wall for a fare of CNY50~60. The Wall closes at 17:00.Make sure you reach there before that time.
