About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

My flight will leave on the 19th of May and will arrive Guangzhou on the 19th of May at 5:40 p.m.

The next flight will leave the next day at 5:00 p.m. Is a 23:20 hours layover and is an overnight flight. Sometimes when are overnight flights the airlines do not issued the ticket until the next day. I read that you need a confirm seat in order to enjoy the 24 hour transit policy, is mean that if the airline do not issued the ticket, even that I have a confirm returned flight, I cannot enjoy this policy?

Lill, I don't think it will be the case. Actually as long as you have a confirmed ticket booking record, you can enjoy the policy. Sometimes, it's not practical for passengers to hold a confirmed ticket or a boarding pass with a confirmed ticket number.
