About:Visa Policy of China

Travel document for my baby

I am Chinese National but a permanent resident in Malaysia.I give birth a baby and I want to bring my baby back to China but my child do not have a travel document. What I should do to get the travel document of my child?

Sandra, you and your husband should take your child to the PRC embassy or consulate in Malaysia and apply for the travel document. The following documents are required:
1. a fully completed application form
2. four half-length color photos of the child (size: 48 mm x 33 mm)
3. the original and photocopy of the child's birth certificate
4. the original and photocopy of both parents' passports
5. the original and photocopy of parents' marriage certificate
6. the original and photocopy of parents' residence permit in Malaysia
