Date of Entry on Invitation letter

Hi, I am in the process of getting my chinese Z-VISA from India. In my invitation letter the date of first entry is mentioned as 3rd May. But I ll be able to apply my Z type on 4th may only. Will it be a problem. Please help me.

What is the importance of this Date of Entry? Actually my date of entry would be approx. 2nd week of june. Can it be different between "Invitation letter from Duly authorized unit"(3rd may) and VISA application(6th june).
