Is there any public transport from Wutaishan to Datong city?

And from Datong to visit yungang caves, is there public transport?

1. Yes, you can take a bus to Datong from the mountain. I remember that the buses are scheduled at 8:30 and 13:00. Generally speaking, the trip takes about 4 hours.
2. Yes, you can take tourist bus no. 603 from Datong Railway Station to the cave. The trip takes 40 to 50 minutes. The fare is CNY 3 per person.
