About:China Visa

Itinerary details

Hi,
I am looking to apply for a tourist visa, as a UK citizen. How detailed does my itinerary need to be when applying and are changes able to be made? Do I need to have my flights into and out of China and hotels booked when making my application?

Thanks, Lindsay

Hi Lindasay! You don't need to prepare a very detailed itinerary. A rough one is ok. Just fill in all the blanks on the application form and put in your itinerary in Section 2.6. After you get the L type entry permit, you can change your travel plan. When making the application, you should have your round-trip flights and hotels booked, but you don't have to book all the hotels for the whole trip.
