About:Chinese Currency & Money Exchange

Can I get a cash advance on my credit cards and if so, where?

At my hotel? At a bank? Or should I carry traveler's checks in US currency to exchange once I get to China?

For all I know, if you have opened up the service for Chinese notes, you can get CNY cash on ATMs marked with VISA or MASTER. Or, you may need to go to the bank counters to exchange notes.
