can i travel like this?

Question

HI, -I travel to Shanghai on Sunday 1st May (i will use by single entry 30 day visa when entering) -I then travel to Bangkok on Sunday 7th May-I travel back to Shanghai on Sunday -I then travel from Shanghai on the same day back to Germany (this is not a connecting flight).Will the travel entry permit cover my entry into Shanghai only to comeback through the airport on the way out?

Ollie, yes, the travel permit will cover your first entry to Shanghai. As for your second entry to Shanghai, you can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit.
