traffic condition from airport to taiyuan city

Question

1. Is the traffic condition from Wusu airport to the city congested during peak hours.2. I will be arriving at 3.25pm and plan to take the last bus from the East Bus Station to Wutaishan.3. Do you know whether the airport clearance is congested?  I found that in Shanghai it was terrible.

Generally, the traffic condition from the airport to city proper can be good upon your arrival. And the airport clearance shall not be congested for it is not as busy as Shanghai Airport. Despite having check-in luggage, around half an hour can be totally enough to check out. Then hire a taxi to the East Bus Station directly to catch the last bus for Mt. Wutai which leaves at 18:30.
