English man(54) married to Chinese lady wants to move to china and stay with her.

I plan to move permanently to PRC to be with my wife. She has a house in Anhui. is there anyway i could work as well as stay there?

Simon, based on what I know, you can apply for a work Z type. In this case, you can work in PRC as well as stay there with your wife. But currently, you cannot live there permanently. You can just apply for a temporary residence permit in PRC.
