What's your travel purpose? If it's for tourism purpose, you need to submit your passport, a copy of your passport's used pages, an application form, a half-length color photo, and a copy of round-trip tickets and hotel booking records.
You are not allowed to stay permannently in PRC unless you can get the permanent residency.

If so, you need to submit your passport and copy of its data page, the completed application form attached with a passport-style photo, and an invitation letter from your business partner in PRC.
