About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transit visa for Beijing.

We have Pakistani passport. Right now we are living in New Zealand. We want to go to Karachi from Auckland with AirChina but we have a transit period at Beijing for 14 hours. Do we need to pay for the transit G type? and do we qualify for the direct transit?

Sana, you qualify for the direct transit policy, so no need to apply for the transit G type permit.

No we do not qualify for direct transit policy because we do not have New zealand passport. We have recently moved to New zealand but still, we have Pakistani passport. On Pakistani passport, we need transit G type.

As long as your transit is under 24h, you don't need a transit G type.
