My daughter is working in China. Can I send her rice and pasta and milk powders?

Will courier companies allow this?
What is the procedure?

I'm afraid these items may not be allowed to be delivered. As far as I know, only qualified factories can export it into there.
There are many markets in China that sell all of these products. She can buy some by herself.

You can send up to 6 x 800g tins of 'milk powder' or baby food, if it is for personal use . Any dairy produc deemed tsover the limit are taxed at 10%. It is still cheaper to send dairy products to China, and European powder is better quality. Check to see if you can send it from south africa, or send it when you are on holiday. You could try to declare it as something else but it may just get confiscated all together and your daughter would not be able to reclaim it.
