Bank statement and guarantor requirements for student visa

Hello,
I want to know how much money and for how many days do I need to show prior to applying for a student X1 type in China. The course is for 6 years. Also, the person applying is under 18. Does she need a guarantor and who is eligible to become a guarantor?

Kind Regards,
Nobel

Nobel, as a common sense, if you are a self-sponsored student, you should provide a bank statement of the latest six months. If you have obtained government scholarship, you may not need this document. No certain moeny amount is required, but the more, the bigger your chance to get the X type.

For those self-supporting students under 18, a guarantor is needed. It's usually the student's parents with fixed and considerable financial income.
