About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

my significant other is an American living in Hong Kong. Is it possible for me to live with her?

We're not married yet. Would it be possible for me to to apply for a visa and find a job in Hong Kong?

Kevin, if you can find a job there, it’s possible for you to apply for work entry permit to enter HK and work there. In this case, you can live with her.
