Availability of public transportation to Guangzhou City from Pearl Garden Hotel, 368 Kaifa Avenue

I will be on a business trip to there and I'll be staying in Pearl Garden Hotel, 368 Kaifa Avenue. If I would like to visit some attractions such as Baiyun Montain, what would you recommend and how can I get there? Aside from that, any public transport to get back to the hotel after the trip?
