Diplomatic passport holder require visa to Shanghai, PRC?

I am a Filipino holding a diplomatic passport with a work permit in Malaysia. I have been invited as a Speaker in a Conference which will be held in Shanghai, PRC in October. Can you advise if I need to apply for an entry permit and if so, what type and what are the procedures, documentation, how long it will take and where can my representative submit / collect on my behalf.
Thank you.

Audrei, because you hold diplomatic passport, you can enjoy free entry to PRC for a stay of no more than 30 days. So no entry permit is needed.
