shopping for souveniers in guangzhou

Question

1. I am staying at the fortune hotel on tianhe rd, where is the nearest district or road to shop for souvenirs? I am interested in clothes, unique goods that boast the culture of the city.2. after several days wondering around town, it would be fantastic if I could find a family massage parlor that is not from the hotel or malls or some places to unwind and get myself a good relaxing massage as my legs are sore and back aching with all the walking :-) are there any on beijing lu?

Dear Irene. Beijing Road is a good place to buy souveniors, and I have no idea of such a place near your hotel. After roaming around and shopping, you can find a place for massage. I just know a good one named Fu Yuan Tang, located at Yuexiu City Plaza, no. 439, Middle Dongfeng Road, around 1,100m away from Beijing Road. I remember the charge is quite reasonable. Just go for a try!
