About:Hong Kong Visa Application

Nepalese Citizen travelling from Nanjing to USA via HK. Do i need a transit visa?

If i need a transit entry permit how can i apply from Nanjing and what short of documents should i show ? I contacted the Cathy Pacific office here in nanjing, they said i need it. I already bought the ticket also.

Yes, you need it and you should apply for it beforehand. You need to prepare those documents including copy of your passport, the application form, a passport-style photo, proof of your financial standing, transportation arrangement, your valid entry permit to mainland PRC, and proof of your travel plan to the next destination. And then submit your application to the Beijing Office of HK SAR government to apply for it.

Thanks for the response. Just a query, what do you mean by proof of my travel plan. Valid entry permit of United states?

Yes, you can use the valid entry permit of the United State as your proof of travel plan.
