Getting from Changsha south station to West bus station to go to zhangjiajie

Hello,
I have two questions, hope you can help me.
1)What is the best option to go from south rail station to west bus center to take the bus to zhangjiajie.
2)I'll be arriving on 2/05 (busy week) and plan to buy the bus ticket in the moment. Is there any other way to reserve the bus tickets?

Why do not you take a train to Zhangjiajie, it wil be more saft and conveient? Sorry, no info for bus, and on way to reserve in advance.

Thank you for your response. The problem is i arrive from Guilin at 1pm, and there is no ride that works for me at that hour. The bus takes 4 to 5 hours and its faster.
I would like to know if there is any way to book in advance the buses so i can be sure i get my seats.
