Multi-entry 12 month visa Tourist Visa

Hi there,

I'm applying for a Ltype with a letter of invitation from a friend who lives in China. I will be visiting many cities in PRC but based in Shanghai where my friend will accommodate me. Am I able to get a multi-entry 12 month L type? Would I be able to get a 90 day duration of stay?
