About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I'm flying to Shanghai for a 48 hour stay in relation to a meeting and then I'm flying out.

Do I need a visa?

Jeff, if you can make sure that you are flying in and out from different countries, you can enjoy the 72-hour/144-hour free transit in Shanghai. If the countries you are flying in from and onward to is the same one, you can't enjoy this policy and the transit G type entry permit is required.
