China crew visa requirement

Hello am Alex from Kenya,what are the requirements for a C, F or G type? Am supposed to join my ship in BAOSHAN port.

Alex, the basic documents for C, F or G type are the same including your passport and copy of its data page, the application form and a recently-taken passport-sized color photo.
Other supplementary documents are different:
C type: a guarantee letter from your company and an invitation letter from a related Chinese unit
F type: an invitation letter form a relevant unit in PRC
G type: the confirmed ticket to the next destination
If you juts join your ship in Baoshan port and then the ship will head out of PRC, a transit G type or crew C type is okay.
