About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transit Visa for Shanghai.

Hi there, heading there in June for 5 nights/6 days from UK with connections in Amsterdam heading out and Paris heading back from what i've read we would qualify for the transit visa, however the airline will not confirm this. Has anyone had any issues getting the transit visa?

Hi Dusty, so you will fly from Amsterdam to Shanghai and then fly out to UK via Paris? If so, you can use the 144-hour free transit policy. You should tell the airline about it so that they can inform this to Shanghai Immigration Office.
