I am a Chinese passport holder, living in the UK with my partner and two children. My partner is holding a German passport, my children are holding British passports. I recently was offered a job in mainland China, which type I shall apply for them? My partner and I are not married, will we just provide our chrildren birth certificate sufficient?

LQ, you can apply for an S1 type for them. If the children's birth certificates have your partner's name on it, the birth certificates may be sufficient. But it's possible that your partner need to show a certificate to prove the relationship between him and you.
