is it possible in one day? can i get off the direct bus at heping and take another bus from there to dazhai?

Do you mean Fenghuang Ancient Town in Hunan province? There is direct bus from Fenghuang to Guilin, availale at 11:00 daily. The bus stops at Longsheng, from where you may go to Dazhai Rice Terraces.
