About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Is it possible to use the 72 hour transit visa twice within a month's time?

My travel plans are to fly from Chicago -> Beijing and spend less than 72 hours in Beijing. I will then fly from Beijing -> Malaysia. After 3 - 4 weeks of traveling around South East Asia, I will fly from Tokyo -> Beijing. I plan on spending another < 72 hr period in Beijing before leaving for the US.

In other words, I would like to use the 72 hour free transit twice (2 separate legs of my trip) with a time frame of 4 weeks. Is this possible?

I have a similar question like Christian:

My itinerary is Copenhagen(Denmark) -> Beijing and spend less than 72 hours in Beijing.

I will then fly from Beijing -> Hongkong. After 2 days in Hongkong, I will fly Hongkong -> Shanghai I plan on spending another less than 72 hours period in Shanghai before leaving for Copenhagen.

I would like to use the 72 hour free transit in China twice with a time frame of 1 week. Is this possible?

Kind regards
Kristan
