my friendme will meet up in guangzhou airport, take connecting flight to myanmar

Question

My friend will be in the airport by 6 am and I'll arrive by 7am from Amsterdam .Our flight to Myanmar is departing by 9am.What's the best location for us to meet?  We surely want to have a coffee or cigarette before departing. Happy to receive any suggestion. Thanks Sylvia

You can meet at the Starbucks on 3/F, West Connecting Concourse Aisle. In there, you can have some coffee and chat with each other. However, as I know, people are not allowed to smoke inside the terminal building, including the Starbucks. You need to know this.
