About:Fenghuang Ancient Town

I plan to visit Fenghuang from Shanghai, what is the best route ?

I didn't know that the Tongren airport had flights from and to Shanghai. I have planned to fly from Shanghai to Changsha, leaving on wednesday April 13 afternoon, then take a night train to Jishou, then take the bus to the old town. Is there an easier route ?

Well, there are several direct flights that run between Tongren and Shanghai.
Actually, your transportation is a little bit complicated.
First of all, you can take bullet train from Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station and get off at Changsha South Railway Station. The duration is about 5.5 hours.
After arriving, walk to Lituo Bus Station. There are several buses that can take you to the scenic area directly.
