Singapore Passport - expire in less than 6 months

Hi, I have to travel to Beijing from UK on a Business Trip on 21st Apr for 10 days. As I am as Singaporean, I don't need a visa. My Singapore passport will expire on 23rd Sept, making it only 5 months valid. I don't think my new Singapore Passport will arrive in time. What is your suggestion so my travel is not disrupted? DO you think I will have a problem entering China?

Thanks for your help.

Dear, when one applies for visa to PRC, her/his passport must have a remaining validity for at least 6 months. But you can enjoy free entry to PRC, so as long as your passport is valid, you can enter PRC with it.
