About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Is it possible to use 72 hour entry by bus / train / boat?

For example for people who stay in Hong Kong and would like to visit close by Mainland cities, such as Guangzhou, is it still possible? Or only for travelers by plane who have tickets as prove of leave who enter and leave by the airport?

Mark, only in Shanghai, it's possible to use 72-hour entry by bus / train / boat. In Guangzhou, the 72-hour free entry is only available to flight passengers.
