Visiting spouse in Nantong for two weeks. Any suggestions on things to do in Nantong?

Trip planned for May 6, 2016. he will be on vacation for 2 weeks. We would like to sight see Shanghai also.

Do you have business in Nantong? If not, 2 more days are enough there as Nantong is a small city. You can spare your time to other cities in China, like Bejing, Xian, Shanghai, Suzhou or Guilin.
